The Coldren Cottage is warmly decorated with wormy chestnut on the main floor and spacious 2nd floor bonus room. Located in Farmington near Nemacolin Resort and Ohiopyle this vacation rental is the perfect place for your next getaway! In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, the main floor has a full bath plus half bath with 3 bedrooms. The upstairs bonus room has sleeping accommodations for 6, with one full bed and 4 twin beds and window airconditioner. The living room boasts a wood burning fireplace, satellite TV and DVD player. A full screened in porch is a wonderful place for quiet reading, morning coffee or nighttime star gazing. You might even catch sight of a deer feeding at the edge of our large grassy lawn. A covered outdoor fireplace/barbeque is just steps away from the house where you can cook a delicious meal. toast marshmallows or sit around the fire. This is a very comfortable vacation home with sleeping for up to 12 people. Catering is available from the Historic Stone House Restaurant.

Directions:

3667 Route 40, National Pike, Farmington PA 15437 Coming from Uniontown : Take Rt 40 (National Pike) up the Summit - go thru Chalk Hill towards Farmington. You will pass Mount Washington Presbyterian Church on your right and a landscaping business that has a bear carving near the road on the left. As soon as you pass these two landmarks slow down and you will see a yellow road sign on the right with a truck that says 8% grade - the driveway is directly across from that sign on the left. If you go past the Pizza Hut on the right, you passed it. Coming from Ohiopyle on 381 - Turn Right onto Rt 40 (National Pike) - pass Pizza Hut and go 4/10's of a mile and driveway will be on your right. If you pass Mount Washington Presbyterian Church on the left, you went too far. Turn around and follow instructions above. Coming from Yough Lake - Cross bridge and follow Rt 40 W. Pass Nemacolin Resort, pass Pizza Hut and go 4/10's of a mile and driveway will be on your right. If you pass Mount Washington Presbyterian Church on the left, you went too far. Turn around and follow instructions above. When you enter the driveway, there will be a house to your left and right. Follow the drive straight about 2/10ths of a mile and driveway dead ends at the Coldren Cottage.

Comments:

We rented the house in late May and fell in love! My family and I are already considering renting the same cabin at the end of the summer. The owner was great, especially since we only rented it a week before our desired date. It was a little hard to find at first, but the house is located in a perfect location with ample privacy. My family and I would recommend this house for a long weekend to anyone!
