The Lake House at the Yough is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 1 bath cabin located on the Yough Lake with gorgeous lake and mountain views. The Lake House offers large upper and lower decks, and outdoor patio. The main deck offers a breathtaking view of the lake, gas grill, picnic table and comfortable lounge furniture. The Lake House comfortably sleeps 10 with a queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 sets of bunk beds with trundles in the other bedrooms, and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Every room offers a spectacular view of the lake. Boat rentals and boat slips are available at the marina. Boaters consider Youghiogheny River Lake, with its 16 mile length and channels up to one-half mile wide, the best power boating and water-skiing lake in southwestern Pennsylvania. There are numerous coves and backwater areas along the lake which provide excellent fishing. The lake is inhabited by a large variety of game and pan fish and is especially known as a hotspot for walleye and smallmouth bass.
The dock at the house is not for guest use (Lake Rules/not our rule). We do provide our guests with a boat slip at the marina for use during their stay at the Lake House.
This vacation home is approximately 15 minutes from Ohiopyle State Park and Confluence which offers Hiking, Biking, Rock Climbing, Whitewater rafting and kayaking.
